Climate Cup 09 is a competition for Danish businesses, organizations and municipalities, which with their diverse actions having contributed to tackle climate change and through this competition and platform would like to share their experience.

Royal Awards for Sustainabiliy in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Berlingske Tidende og Ugebrevet Mandag Morgen provide the opportunity to make corporate and public climate activities visible and also to inspire other businesses and organizations to actively participate in addressing climate change issues on the road towards the UN Climate Conference, COP15, in Copenhagen 2009.

Climate Cup prizes will be delivered in four categories (CO2 Reduction, Strategic Climate Actions, Climatefriendly Innovation and Partnership for Better Climate). The Main Prize will be selected from the winners of these four categories. HRH Crownprince Frederik of Denmark and Domingo Jiménez Beltrán, the Chairman of the Board of Royal Awards for Sustainability will hand over the prizes.
